I love the Maybelline Fit Me range foundation and concealer for color-correcting my skin and hiding any flaws. I also use the Fit Me compact to set the foundation and as loose powder over my face after I’m done with my makeup.

source 2. Contour and Highlight
So, I’m not a pro at contouring, but seeing the huge flood of contouring makeup tutorials on YouTube and Instagram, I HAD to try it out. I searched high and low for an affordable contouring palette as I didn’t want to waste my money on something I was just learning (and probably could suck at). So I found this really cheap palette on Amazon by a brand called Kiss Beauty. It’s a cream based contouring and highlighting palette, so honestly it’s not very amazing. But it’s great if you just want to get some hands-on done on those crazy tutorials!
Also, I use the setting powder from the Sonia Kashuk concealer palette as a highlighter. It was a gift from my sister and it retails in India at Amazon (and is kinda expensive). So I found an alternative for it at Nykaa – Freedom Pro Conceal Palette.

I love this makeup palette – the L’oreal Paris Color Harmony palette. It has 5 nude eyeshadow shades, 4 Color Riche lipsticks and 1 coral blush. It’s a great to carry as its very compact. It was a gift from my dad and sadly I can’t find it for retail anywhere in India. However, I found different palettes that basically do the same things as this palette and are super affordable.
A nude eyeshadow palette is definitely an essential as it can add a toned down shimmer to your eyes without going too bold and transitions well from a bronzy day look to a smoky night look.

The blush instantly adds a flush to the cheeks and also adds a glow to the face and saves the face from looking too pale and plain.

I have only recently been introduced to this beauty and boy am I glad! The highlighter provides an instant shine and illuminates the entire face up. Apply it to the areas where the light hits your face and you’re ready to shine bright like a diamond!

All these makeup products are kind of vain if you don’t have the right tools to use them. The essentials in my beauty bag are brushes and blenders.
I use the beauty blender to apply foundation and blend my contouring.
The brushes have a variety of uses. I bought the 24 brush set from Amazon and the quality is AH-mazing. I don’t really use all of the brushes, just the main ones to apply blush, highlighter, eyeshadow and highlighter. Best part about these brushes is that they have their use printed on the brush handle itself (yay) so if you are new to using brushes, it’s a godsend.
