site de rencontre gratuit en france It is said that a strong mind makes a strong body. These words couldn’t be truer because once you control your mind, you can conquer your body. The Do You movement hosted by PUMA is an initiative to bring together women from different walks of life to exhibit the true power of their inner strength – mind and body – by showcasing the power of their core. And what better way to showcase your core strength than to perform the ultimate core strengthening move – the abdominal plank!
http://macarthurgrange.com.au/?proklon=sre-xalapa-citas-por-internet&a4b=cd It was joyous occasion where each woman was ecstatic and super stoked to be a part of the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of women performing the abdominal plank for 60 seconds – and boy – were we excited!!

And the best part? To be able to achieve this feat along with my best friends! (it’s a blessing to have like-minded fitness enthusiast friends.. wink wink)
The Big Day!
http://surfscooter.com/?maska=mejor-app-para-conocer-gente-gratis&3f5=27 With butterflies in our stomachs and hope in our eyes, we were all geared up to be a part of this epic occasion. Just as we reached our destination, not only were we blown away by the sheer magnitude of people who had turned up, but also the energy that everyone was high on!
http://ide-bisnis.com/?primertt=fille-cherche-emploi&790=b6 There was a happy buzz in the air and it was a glorious sight, seeing everyone in their bright neon vests, eagerly waiting to take on the plank challenge like a boss. The first test was to clear the initial round of 60 seconds’ plank required to be done to acquire your Gold Bands and to proceed into the actual record-breaking event.
While I wouldn’t say it was piece of cake, it did require all our grit and determination, but it’s safe to say that we killed it without any hiccups! And rallied into the main arena with our Gold Bands ready to take on the world record!
The atmosphere was electric with various celebrities like Jacqueline Fernandes, Kalki Koechlin, Shibani Dandekar, PUMA athletes, Sakshi Malik, Sucheta Pal, etc. gracing the stage, motivating the ladies and gearing up to break the record with everyone! The crowd was pumped – from the 6-year-old little girl in pigtails – to the 60-year-old aunty in all her silver headed glory!
As we prepped for the first attempt to break the record – all 1700 of us – with a gleam of hope in our eyes and positivity in our hearts.
The horn was blown, the timer set and our positions taken – ready to create history! Never have I ever experienced such a minute in my life filled with so many emotions – be it laughter, cheer, puffing, panting, perseverance and then finally victory! As the minute came to an end, a loud cheer echoed in the arena made by 1623 beautiful women – delighted by the feat they had achieved.
The world record attempt was followed by an amazing Zumba session taken by none other than Master Trainer Sucheta Pal and we danced till we couldn’t feel our feet. In the meantime, the officials were ready with the results of the first attempt and we waited with bated breath and fingers crossed.
The suspense was killing us but the announcement that – YES! WE HAD DONE IT! – was totally worth the wait. With heads held high and pats on our back, the day ended on a high note – that if we women set our minds to something – anything is achievable!
