navigate to this site Winter definitely is my favourite season when it comes to fashion, because this is probably the only season in the year where we get to layer up our clothes and bring out our fancy outerwear. Even though in Mumbai, where I’m from, it doesn’t nearly get as cold as I’d wish for, there are those certain days when there’s a nice cold breeze and a nip in the air, and you just can’t help but get your warm clothes out.
investigate this site In Part 1 of the Winter Lookbook series, I’ve featured my fave piece of outerwear – the trench coat! The trench coat instantly adds a touch of posh to any outfit and even when it’s not that cold out there, a light trench coat can be the perfect cover up for any outfit. I’ve always dreamt of wearing a trench coat and sashaying down the street looking all street style chic – very London style and here’s some inspo on how you can too!
over here This look comprises of a mustard coloured flowy trench coat over a high neck little black dress. I’ve paired it with strappy black pumps and a black handbag. The trench instantly makes the outfit chic and modern and is such a good piece to invest in for a bomb OOTD. If you’re in a colder climate, you can swap the flowy trench for a thicker one with warm lining. But if you’re like me in Mumbai’s sweltering afternoons but relatively cooler mornings and evenings, this breezy trench works just fine.
If your dress code permits it, this outfit can even be worn to work! Don’t forget to pop on your fave sunnies and a belt over the trench to give an illusion of a small, cinched waist.

- explanation Look 2 :
In the next look, I’ve worn this really pretty dusty pink trench over a white ruffled crop top and matching white pencil skirt. This outfit is super feminine and white and pink are definitely my go-to colors for a pretty, dainty look. The trench, even though not totally flimsy isn’t too hot for warmer weather and is a great option to be worn as a cover up for an instant put-together look. I also put on a pair of pink sunnies with a pink lip, yeah I went all out on the pink in this one! ?
For accessories, since I’d already over done the pink and feared looking like a Barbie – I stuck to neutrals and picked up these cute nude heels and a taupe colored sling bag to complete my street style inspired outfit!
